Seeking: Full-time Staff Physical Therapist

We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to work full-time in beautiful San Luis Obispo, California
(recognized by Outside magazine as one of its “25 Best Towns Ever” to live).

Living on the central coast, we are surrounded by beautiful beaches, hiking trails, nature, and over 300 local wineries.

San Luis Obispo is also an easy drive to San Francisco or Los Angeles.

We are looking for a full-time physical therapist to join our team, which currently consists of three practitioners and support staff.  Our goal is to put the patient’s experience and recovery first and allow the physical therapist to practice their trade.

Additional job details include:

  • Outlook: At Spirit Winds, we aim to cultivate a healing atmosphere where patients feel safe to share their stories and accept guidance on their road to recovery. We strongly believe that empowering patients to change their lifestyle and outlook yields optimal outcomes.

  • Setting: Private practice, outpatient physical therapy clinic. We strive to be a holistic clinic, considering all aspects of a person, not just physical.

  • Patient Type: We treat patients of all age groups with a wide variety of impairments, ranging from post-operative rehab to progressive neurological diseases such as Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s.

  • Typical Day: Therapists have a full hour to treat each patient, though occasionally treat two patients in the same hour with the help of a Physical Therapist Aide. In an 8-hour workday, therapists treat on average 10 patients in a day.
