Updates on Covid-19/Coronavirus and Our Clinic

Greetings to all our Patients,

Here at Spirit Winds Physical Therapy, we strive to provide quality and compassionate care to our patients. Due to the COVID-19 shelter-in-place order being extended until April 30th, we have made a few changes in our clinic to ensure the safety and longevity of our business practice. We are still open and will continue to be open as long as possible in order to keep serving all our patients to the best of our abilities.

Changes in Scheduling:

-Michele will be treating those patients who need to come into the clinic in the morning and conducting Telehealth visits in the afternoons.

-Laird will be conducting his Telehealth visits remotely in the morning and will be seeing patients in the clinic in the afternoon hours.

-Larry is returning to treat patients. His schedule is limited between 12 – 2 pm Tuesday – Friday. He is not available for Telehealth visits.

We have scheduled the therapists as such to ensure that there is a minimal amount of people in the clinic at any one time. This promotes further safety of our staff and our patients who must come in for treatment.

Increased safety precautions:

-Therapists will now be wearing gloves and masks during the treatment of physical patients.

-All other safety measures continue to be strictly adhered to.

We continue to constantly work around the clock & make adaptations to keep our clinic clean, sanitized and safe from contamination. Our goal is to keep our doors open for patients to safely seeking physical therapy treatment without having them worry about being at risk of coming into contact with COVID-19. We do understand that some patients do not feel comfortable visiting us in person at this time however, we still encourage those patients to set up a Telehealth consult to at least check in with their physical therapist to go over Home Exercise Programs, stretches, etc.

In closing, we want to remind everyone to stay healthy and safe during this time. Practice adequate social distancing, but consider stepping outside for some fresh air to improve mental/emotional health. We can all get through this together and this chaotic time will pass.

In peace, Michele Jang and The Spirit Winds Team
